I'd like to be able to suppress tray notification (on XP) ! 6obp
Hello!
As the title indicates I'm stuck being bombarded with tray notifications. I'm on Windows XP SP2, using FDM v3.9 build 1194. I have played with the options in "Options" -> "Notification" without result. Regardless settings, the same tray notifications pop up as if I haven't touched those settings at all.
FYI, I'm using an alternative shell (Emerge Desktop) and those tray notifications pollute any fullscreen video I might be watching, leaving me no choice but to stop the video and wait until FDM is finished; multi-tasking is very hard for me with FDM in many situations as you can see.

You shouild also change options in Miscellaneous | Essential and s | Essential sections, then restart FDM and check if your changes are really saved.

Thanks for the reply!
I don't know how those two "Essential" sections are supposed to help here, but yes, changes in in any of those sections including "Notifications" are saved. As a matter of fact, I have never noticed a change to some option being reset after restart.
