In general I want to use FDM for file s. But how do I disable
FDM for only a single, certain ?

Disabling monitor browser would required a restart what I want to avoid.
As far as I know there is a additinal key combination I have to press.
Which one ?

Well, there is a switch witch you can set to trigger the IE dialog after canceling FDM.
It's in Options/ Options and there tab Monitoring. Mark "Allow IE to if you press cancel".

It's not exactly what you want but maybe usable.
Software: should we be aware because it's soft ? I like to think not !
