Add box causes Drop Box "ghost" 192329

Hello;

I am running FDM 2.0 build 419 on Windows 98SE, with IE 6.0 SP1. When first installed, FDM has the Drop Box function enabled by default, which I have switched off via the View/Drop Box menu item.

However, this leaves a "ghost" or shadow ie. a blank, white square on screen [ matching the exact position and size of the Drop Box icon ], whenever the Add box is activated. Once the "OK" button is pressed to start the , the shadow disappears. The same behaviour occurs, irrespective of whether the new or old-style skin is used, or the position of the Drop Box is changed [ before being disabled ].

I wish to continue to use the Add Dialogue box, in preference to silent monitoring. Is there a way to prevent this Drop Box "ghost" from appearing?

Mhh, strange behaviour. I cannot reproduce it here.
