i have gone ahead and removed it from chrome for now. i will add it back when you fix it.

We're really sorry for the inconvenience, but, unfortunately, we failed to reproduce the bug, which makes it really difficult to understand what causes the issue. Maybe, you can mention some details that seemed suspicious when the problem occurred?

It doesn't happen straight away after activating FDM ext in chrome. It works fine for a while and then at some point this issue occurs. It also happend while using MS Edge so my guess the issue is not with the chrome ext but with FDM integration with browsers, havent checked firefox do't use it that much..

Could you please provide a screenshot to depict the issue in MS Edge?

Same Problem here. Really annoying.
Beside the Free Manager I have installed the Qipu extension and uBlock origin.
Using Chrome.

It's everytime nearly the same URL he wants to something from. In my case it looks like this:

there is a serious bug with chrome extension.

Every time i open chrome i see page not found, fdm open a new with name "affiliation: ", if i refresh the page this bug reappears ecry 10 second. there is more that have this throuble. just to read comment on chrome web store.

Still can't reproduce on our side, so let's get some debug info.
If you are experiencing this problem, please do the following:

1. the debug version of our extension.
2. Open chrome://extensions (Menu > More tools > Extensions). Disable the FDM extension if it's still enabled.
3. Drag & drop the .crx file from step 1 to the same chrome://extensions page. Allow the installation.

Note: this debug version won't s to FDM. Instead, it'll just show the information about any links being ed.

4. Reproduce the bug with Speech API. You'll get one or more dialog boxes. Copy the information from them by simply pressing Ctrl+C when the dialog is active.
5. Paste that info here (or via a personal message to me if you suppose it contains some personal information).
6. Disable or remove the debug extension.

The issue must be fixed in the extension version 1.0.26. This update is just sent to Web Store, it may take 60 minutes to publish.

If it's not fixed in v1.0.26, please follow the instructions above (updated to 1.0.26.1) to get the new debug info.

I have not had any new occurrence since the extension update, prior experience was a dozen or so a day. I will take that as a good sign. Thank you.
