How to give FDM priority over built-in Firefox Man? 541a48
When I currently something in Firefox the built-in Manager handles this .
How can I disable this built-in Manager and/or give FDM priority?

Is FDM plugin 1.3.4 enabled in add-ons? Is Firefox monitoring enabled in settings? If you use FlashGot, is FDM enabled?

Uninstall the FDM plugin in Firefox. Restart and then close Firefox. Run a repair of FDM by re-installing FDM 3.0 Build 848 on top of the old installation.
You might also look at your security programs' settings. In particular, any type of HIPS or behavior analyzer program (sometimes included with a firewall or security suite) may prevent Firefox from ing a to FDM without showing an alert.

Forget about the plugin, use flashgot extension instead.

I got a slightly different question, and was unwilling to create a new topic about it:
I want to be able to click " with FDM" in the menu when I right click on a -url, but if I click it normally (left click) then it should just with the built-in er from Firefox.
This is because I want to use FDM for large files I through rapidshare, etc, but I find it very annoying that every little thing I try to has to be redirected through FDM.
I hope someone can help me out. If I disable the plugin, the option " with FDM" also appears, and if I enable the plugin, it will always with FDM (what was the point of the right click menu then anyway?)

in flashgot, select "browser internal" as your DM.
But, it seems you CAN NOT have the FDM plugin AND flashgot eneabled at the same time.
