FDM always catches .torrent files. Even though Firefox is set to open them in QBitorrent.

Do search the forum before asking, please. It's been already explained:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=18980&hilit=torrent%2A
Andrzej P. Wozniak, FDM and forum
Read FDM FAQ and the reporting rules
"How to report a bug or a problem with FDM" before posting

I did search the forum and deleted the file sbt.dll file. It didn't make any difference.

Hello,
In order to prevent FDM from catching .torrent files, you'll need to add .torrent extension to the exclusion list. Please use Preferences | Browser Integration | Skip files with extensions for this.

I did try that of course but it doesn't allow that extension.

Can someone else test this to see if it is unique to my installation?

Hello,
