I would also like to say thanks!

However, FDM doesn't work in my installation of Maxthon. :(

Click Options, Maxthon Options. In the Maxthon Options dialog box, click the section labeled . Under Manager, make sure that the Do Not Use Manager option is selected. Click OK and restart Maxthon. Then it should work.

It doesn't work here either. In the Maxthon forum are some subjects on this but no working solution for me yet.
On some configurations it works, on others not.

Correct!

I've tried everything. It simply doesn't work.

add my voice...it doesnt work for me either...

[EDIT]
actualy it works, but maybe only 5 of 10 times...
its wierd, from some sites are working from others dont...at the beginning I thouth its because some sites use some scripts that hides actual filename and FDM doesnt catch it because the extension is not in its list, but then I noticed that even if the url is direct to a file on the server, FDM doesnt react on it either...

P.S. all that are equaly for Maxthon and IE.

[EDIT2]
u know, it actualy working but...wierd...when u click on a link to a file, it shows u default IE window, ones u clicked on "Open" or "Save" button it opens FDM window...never seen any managers do that...

I use it and both works fine together since FDM was available.

Two ways are possible:

1.
- Maxthon: No manager set in Options
- FDM: Monitor IE and clipboard enabled

2.
- Maxthon: add script (available in Maxthon Forum) to mgr.ini
- Maxthon: Set FDM in option
- FDM: Monitor IE and clipboard uncheck (maybe no need to do this, try it out)

FDM won't work in Maxthon 1t2m38

Postby TJ » Fri Sep 10, 2004 2:27 am

I've tried option 1 and 2 and FDM will not work. I run Win98 -- if that might make a difference. Any other ideas that I've missed?
