Site manager not working properly - / 6z6i4z

Postby duhovnik » Mon Nov 20, 2006 7:05 am

I`m ing from a website which is using / (easynews.com web interface). The website and the are in the Site manager. When i put several s with flashgot into queue (from Firefox), the first or the first few files correctly, however, after that the fdm states the wrong / error, ie. as if the Site manager wouldnt work correctly. I have to set the / manually for the files to get the s working.

It's a flaw 3d2967

I just think this is a fundamental flaw in the app. - and one that no-one seems bothered about fixing.

If I select individual files in Easynews I get name/ every time. If I try all or selected it doesn't the name/ at all.

It's a great shame because it's a great app and one that deserves to be up there with the very best of the web.

It isn't the flaw that's a problem it's the fact that nobody seems bothered to fix it.

It didn't work for me either. I can't surf my own miniServer with the Site Explorer, if I set up a protection. The server shows in the communication header, that he requests the , but gets no answer from FDM. Another mayor bug.

i would very much like to see a resolution for this problem.

I too am having this issue with a private site, I have queued up 10k things for and it keeps kicking me off and not re-entering / i have to manually re-input name/ every little bit.

PLEASE FIX THIS :))

I don't think FDM developers realise they are using Internet Explorer cookies and not Firefoxes.

The solution to your problem is:

- Load up Internet Explorer (if you don't have that just use My Computer)

- Navigate to the site and as you usually do ensuring you save cookies or keep yourself logged in or whichever appropriate option you can select and then close the browser - do not log out.

Now try adding some stuff from Firefox into FDM.

This also works for Rapidshare issues.
