The following problem seems to be only occurring with rapidshare.com...

When the first starts, there is a percentage figure in the '' column, but it is prefixed with 'RD:'.

U usage goes up and the hard drive goes crazy so that the computer virtually freezes. This lasts for a few minutes then the proper begins (no RD: prefix before the percentage figure, now) and I can use the computer again. I am using build 715.

Has anybody experienced the same thing lately?

Is it a large file?

I think RD means Reserving Diskspace, which can take a while with large files.

Just switch to ORBIT for rs s.

Or simply edit your options. Disable "preserve diskspace"

Thanks everyone. I disabled RD; 'reserve discspace' must be a default setting on my FDM update.
