Why no for Mac???? 4m4j1o

Postby LuvAMac » Fri Feb 29, 2008 10:13 pm

Hello - First post here, and I am wondering why there is no - at least that I can find - for the Macintosh platform. This seems to be a great manager, and the fact that the Mac is growing more and more popular in all areas of usage seems to be reason enough to it. If anyone can offer an answer I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I would also ask: is there any for Linux? FreeDM is licensed under GNU, is there a version for Linux? Or at least is it possible to compile it on Tux? Are there any plans for this OS?

Thanks!

I second the request of LuvMmac, mac s are growing despite of Windows s so a version for this platform is very appreciated.

This is a great free manager, thanks to the programmers.

If the programmers or an experienced Mac can create a Mac version we will be very grateful 8)

I would also like to see a Linux version available. some things might need to be changed, but it be great if an experienced programmer could tackle this project. The closest thing i've seen for Linux is Multiget, but FDM is even better!

Mac for what? Go away Mac fan boys! I though most of Mac are very smart and they can write their own programs instead of coming here begging. I think soon or later something else like google OS will replace your maxim! It can be sooner when Steve is die too.

Having only ever used Windows/Dos for the last 20 Years ( Good ol Windows 3.0 :-) ) and prior to that was a Commodore , I have finally found windows a little to stale for my liking and decided to do something I vowed never to do... Buy a Mac.
The only problem is I can't use FDM any more :-( if someone can port it over that would be great!

Just install Wine (for either linux and mac) and every thing should go righnt (i'm using it on ubuntu 13.04)
/!\ it will not recognize your browser nor auto from it , you should manualy paste the links (if there someone who know how to fix it, please share w/ us your knowledge ;) )
