Probelms when ing large files 4o5gi
Hello!
FDM is an excelent tool. However, I cannot large (2~3 GB) files, for example Fedore Core ISO-image files. FDM reports an error. At the same time I can easily start ing the same large files through Internet Explorer (that is without FDM). Here is the test link:
http://.fedoraproject.org/pub/f ... 86-DVD.iso
Is it FDM's bug or just a problem with my Internet access?
How to avoid those DFM errors and finally manage to Fedora Core files with the help of FDM?
Thanks.
Best,
Alex

Here is another interesting test case:
http://mirrors.ircam.fr/pub/fedora/linu ... /i386/iso/
This URL provides links to 2 files. The fisrt one, with the size ~3 GB, cannot be ed through FDM. FDM generates an error. The FDM can the second one, with a size 100MB, without any problems.
IE is able to both files (without FDM).

Hi all,
I'm having the same problem - can't files larger than 2GB in size. I tried build 2.5.745 and new 2.5.747 - both don't work
Can anyone help please??
Thank you,
David

It seems to be something to do with HTTPS. Files larger than a couple of gigs fail with the error message "Unknown Network Error" if you them over secure HTTPS, but work if you use firefox with the same link. FDM works just fine with the same file over unsecure HTTP.

Can you provide some example?
