ing with the browser works immediately. Using Downthemall! also works right away.
It's definitely a problem with FDM.

bye!

If you can dl, when "server is not responding", then this site s only 1 connection for 1 ip, so it's not fdm's problem.

I don't think so. FDM is able to tell when server doesn't resuming so it establishes only one connection. Plus it seems you can't read. Using DownThemAll! works just fine.
Getright also s it without any probs.

FLVSNIFF.DLL is taking huge amount of processor power.

Measuring 90%+ on this file in Firefox4 when using Process Explorer.
Killing the task brings everything back to normal.

Is it possible to you to compile and release the x64 edition of new version of FDM? it's highly needed. :D
thanks

I also need one of these 64-bit versions because there is a serious compatibility issue with Windows 7 Ultimate using the 32-bit version of FDM 3.0 onwards. It's only compatible with Windows XP and Vista but not with Windows 7. The program always crashes about 30 minutes after using the bittorrent function of the program without fail.

Can you be more specific? I've used more than a few builds with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and not had it crash that often - I have had crashes, but nothing as frequent as you are describing, more like every 3-4 days without a reboot.

Okay, here's the details (updated 24/03/2011):

Programs and addons used: Mozilla Firefox 4.0 RC1, FDM 3.5 RC build 954, FlashGot Extension 1.2.8.5 (all latest versions as at 24/03/2011)
What caused the bug: Simple. Run any torrent for at least 30 minutes with Firefox 4.0 RC1 open and the entire program will hang (not respond completely). Only way forward is to close the program entirely. Second time the same thing is repeated, a dialog shows that 'a fatal error has occured and needs to close' appears 30 minutes after running FDM with Firefox 4.0 RC1 opened. It seems that when Firefox 4.0 is not opened then the error would not appear. Have checked all other options with only either FDM or Firefox having bugs.

I have been using FDM for a year now on Firefox .

Since firefox has been updated just the other day , it doesnt work . I have windows 7 and a 64 bit . Every time I try to install the 3.5 Release Candidate and the flash I get a little box stating 'Create Process failed code 740 '.

It works fine with internet explorer just not with firefox 4 . Any ideas ?

Those who have problems running FDM on win7 x64 should check their systems for viruses or even hw issues.
I'm running FF4 and FDM 3.5RC on win7 X64 WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL. It works just fine.period. I must say though, that I use Flashgot extension and not FDM plugin.

bye!

I have to repost it.

I want to ask what is CLI for these functions:
- All on Page.
- All Video From Page.

I've tried to use this in Opera:

Code: Select all

Item, " All with FDM"=Execute program,"program\FDM\fdm.exe","ALL %s"

So FDM starts with correct parameters (since newest Opera snapshot), but it doesn't run -all-dialog, it just runs and that's it.

Hi Alex. I have a request for a feature: Remove completed s from list when interacts with the completed notification window. What do you think about this?
