At 99%, the stops and then retrieves the file ending in a very low speed. What can be the reason? I have it on different servers. In competitive programs do not have this problem, and does not want to go to another.

I ran into the problem with DLing files with blank(s) in the file name. The URL contains the sequence(s) %20 representing the blank(s). The file is stored on my machine with the %20 sequences in the file name. The %20 should be converted into blanks . This problem was reported here in 2010. I tried this Beta (1268) and the problem still persists. Other DLMs, IE9, Chrome do not have this problem. I hope it will be corrected in the next release. Thanks and enjoy, J.

1. automation means link crawler technology for grabing able files.
for example if we want to below file
"http://rapidshare.com/files/236056473/Free..Manager.3.0.848.Portable.by_zulkani.rar"
we have to visit the page in a browser, Than wait for option than start .
But in automation FDM will do all this and start if file is available in the server.

The above facility available in Jer and i want it in FDM.

open install.rdf in a notepad
change max version to "*.*" without "".
use FDM 3.9 stable not beta

Your installation is broken and editing install.rdf may not help you. Read the FAQ, please.

The %20 should be converted into blanks .

Not a good idea. I suggest converting them to underlines.

Neil from Ohio, converting to underscores is not what the original file name was and not what other DL methods yield. Changing to underscores may cause some using program to fail. I stick with changing to blanks (ASCII x20). Enjoy, J.

FDM no longer starts after the normal reboot the PC.
It's crash after starting the programm.
