Yes, it does.

Could you please hit F12 next time you see that message and take a screenshot with "console" tab viewable?

Hello, I would like to ask why my chrome extension doesn't work properly.. On each time I tried to right click to all and I got this pop out of "Take the final step before you can start using the fully featured version of FDM!" while I able to use it a few hours back just fine... I update my client and still doesnt work.

I think you should install FDM as follows:
1. Install FDM.
2. Run Chrome, install FDM extension from the Chrome Web Store and close Chrome.
3. Run FDM and make sure that Chrome monitoring is turned on.

I followed the above instructions from zilla1126.
I am running Vista, FDM 3.0 Build 852, Chrome 5.0.370.70 Beta.

Since chrome was installed to my profile I copied the npfdm.dll file to C:\s\<Name>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\5.0.375.70\

When I view about:plugins from chrome I find:
Free Manager Click Catcher Plug-In for Netscape, Opera, Mozilla - Version: 1.1.2
Location: C:\s\<Name>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\5.0.375.70\plugins\npfdm.dll

Hello,

Option "ALT must be pressed" not working with google chrome browser.
FDM version: 3.9.4
Chrome extension: 1.0.14
Chrome: 36.0.1985.143 m
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

If it's normal that this options doesn't work with chrome I want to ask: How enable only context menu in browser without enabled automatic ing via FDM?

Cheers

It's not implemented in a new plugin for Chrome. You should request a feature.

I've been using FDM for a number of years very happily with IE. However, after some trouble with the last IE update, I've switched to Chrome as my browser for the first time. I was happy to find that there is an FDM Chrome extension. I installed it, and in most respects it appears to be working. However, I am having one specific problem.

The issue is with some - but not all - of the file sites like Rapidgator, used as a free rather than as a paid .

Some of these sites allow the use of managers by free s, some don't. Using IE with FDM, I would click to , and FDM would open a window. If it's a site that allows managers I would then click to in the FDM window, and FDM would the file; if it's a site that doesn't allow managers I would click cancel in the FDM window and IE would the file instead.

With Chrome, however - when I click on the button, an FDM window opens, and if it is a site that allows managers, FDM s the file as it should; but if it is a site that DOESN'T allow s, and I click cancel in the FDM window, that's where I get a problem with some sites. With SOME of the sites, Chrome will then the correct file, just as in IE. But with others, when I click to cancel the FDM , Chrome s something else - like an error page - and not the file I should be ing. Rapidgator is one of the sites where this happens, and when I click to cancel the FDM window, Chrome s a 's.htm' file instead of the .rar or .zip I should be getting and which IE would .

So FDM seems to something wrong to Chrome when its window is cancelled.

Now, I know which sites (at least after the first time with each new one) this is a problem with, and I wouldn't mind the problem if I had an easy way to initiate the file from one of the problem sites just as a Chrome , skipping FDM. But I can't find a simple way. I thought holding ALT down while clicking on the button/link might skip FDM and start the Chrome direct, but it doesn't. (Should it? I'm not sure if I'm mising something from a different manager I used years ago. And turning off browser monitoring in the context menu from the FDM tray icon doesn't do anything - FDM STILL intercepts the click in the Chrome window. The only way I've found so far is to call up the Chrome extensions page, disable the FDM extension, go back and do the by Chrome, then go back to the extensions page and enable the FDM extension again AND THEN go back to the FDM configuration window and turn Chrome monitoring on again in that. That is a real pain of a procedure to have to go through to start a from one of the problem sites.

So - with FDM, the FDM extension and Chrome monitoring enabled, is there some way to start a particular in Chrome skipping FDM, short of disabling/reneabling the extension each time?

As an additional item of curiosity, I only have a single ' with FDM' entry in my Chrome context menu, without the ' all', ' site', ' selected'. As a matter of fact, I'm quite happy with that, because in all the years of using FDM with IE I've only ever used that basic ' with FDM'. But i am just curious as to whether with Chrome I'm only supposed to get the one context menu entry, or whether something is bugged.

Oh - edited to add:
Windows 7 64-bit
FDM 3.9.4 build 1472
Chrome 36.0.1985.143
FDM Chrome extension 1.0.14

The first problem

When I start FDM portable offers to install Add "Free Manager Chrome extension," I do not want that, I refuse with Cancel, but each subsequent time again FDM offers to install the same extension in Chrome. In FDM Settings, monitoring for Chrome is not checked.

Second problem

When I exit from FDM Portable, FDM starts up the browser to the website, "We are sorry if we let you down ...".

How to solve these two problems with FDM portable ?

What FDM 3.9.4 build? Some builds may have broken Chrome so it is VERY IMPORTANT to follow the reporting rules.

I see there was an update to the FDM Chrome extension yesterday. What's changed? Any specific bugs fixed or new features added?
