no we cant let that happen. as a casual there are a lot of features in 3.9 that i never use or touch in any way. it removing some of those features can trim down the overall file size then better to limit the features.

Version 5 appears to not be able to assign a virus scanner to scan each ed file. I've been running clamscan (portable) on the older versions of FDM.

Latest FDM uses process "winwfpmonitor.exe" for IE integration as mentioned by developers. But this file doesn't contain any Company or additional info for better recognition in the Process Explorer, it looks suspicious when a file running in the system without any company trace so please add additional information to this file "winwfpmonitor.exe" so one can easily recognize the process without any doubts. Its a general and very small thing but very important for security reasons.

Please add "Site explorer" function.

Many s or even most of them use this function in FDM and now in this state FDM is almost unusable for many s and they are still on 3.9.7

Please add this function or many s will go on other managers.

UTF-8 will be nice too.

Right now, for some transfers I use FileZilla and just because they have full UTF-8 and even custom charset.

Please, save FDM because in v3.x.x app was on great path to be the best manager (better then some commercial version like IDM) and now is one step back.
