Set file date/time to same as the server: please bring it back 2a4u6
I loved the new FDM 5.1 interface, but I could find nowhere the option to set the ed file's date and time to match those from the server, which used to be ed until version 3.x.
This is particularly useful when ing frequently updated application installers, as the version number can't always be known from the file name or its properties and you want to be sure you have the correct/latest version before installing it.
This feature is important enough for me to avoid using FDM 5.x as long as it doesn't it. Please consider bringing it back. Thank you very much.

Essential feature for me too. Staying with version 3 until this and some other features are implemented.

This is really essential feature to me too.
Until it is implemented in new version, Im staying with 3,9,7.
I really don't understand how they could ommit such an important feature.

Latest version now forces using server date/time, however that makes it very hard to find recent s in my folder. V3 had option to turn this on and off, but doesn't appear to be available in V5.1.
I can't use v3 anymore because it is incompatible with latest FF.
Please provide an option to use the server date/time or the date/time.
Cheers

The feature to turn on and off server date will be added in the next release.

EDIT: Found the setting to toggle off this (finally) restored feature from v3. Hopefully we won't have to wait YEARS more to get back some of the other pretty basic missing features from v3.
