Now, we have the opportunity to concentrate on adding new features that you ask for.
Vote for the features you would like to appear first.



FDM 5 was replaced by FDM 6, but you can still see features that still haven't been ported from FDM 3.x.

For now disable forum and starts developing all the feature one by one asap. this will give you sufficient time to work on features and you dont need to ask s what they want. As far as asking is concern with every new development of FDM version the vote, the demands increases rapidly and a pile of features are generated but eventually nothing get solved and very few s gets what they want for.

If you really want to develop FDM with good quality and feature rich er then

1. disable forum for now
2. start adding all the features one by one asap.
3. add a changelog to the software where s can track the changes.

I back in FDM3 there was a " All" function where one can select file type to , such as PDF, JPG, etc. Can you add the feature back?

Would be good if there was some kind of basic manual for it, due to the confusing pastiche of versions documented already on the site. I just pasted a link into it, and FDM expanded the folder and showed the files in the directory, and I thought "THATS WHAT I WANT", but I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't do it again,

I'm having a problem with Chrome playing MP4 files, rather then sending them to FDM, and the workaround is not apparent.

I agree with Mr 7777, that FDM 6 seems to primitive to be asking for features. I'm just having problems with simple things like

1. Needs "start paused"
2. Needs a low med high button
3. Needs a blue bar for selection, not a faint blue line around a single item
4. Needs to be able to shuffle s up or down the list
5. Needs a Start selected, not a start all.

When I click on FILE.mp4 in Chrome, it starts to play it in the middle of the screen. I can't find a file handler list for Chrome. I then have to find the three dot icon on the end of the play bar and select , and then FDM picks it up. I then navigate back out of the MP4 play.

The best way to start an MP4 is to drag it to the FDM icon on the task bar, or across to the window. Very tedious if tere are 20 of them.

Here's an example of a sample of files.
Firefox has the same problem. It triggers playing mode on quite a lot of them. (mp4, webm, mov, ogv, 3g2). Firefox pretends to have a handler section under "Applications" in Options, but not many of those above are listed, so it's maybe using a MIME. Chrome is playing mp4, webm, ogv, 3g2 on that page.

First I want to say this is a brilliant piece of software, I have been using it for years. Since version 6 I have had trubles to resume broken s. On version 5.1.38 when a was broken and you create a new for the same url, this dialog appears:

Now on version 6 it only starts a new . I dont know if this a bug, or an unimplemented feature, or if its only me. I'm curretnly using both version and I can tell the behavior is not the same and this is an AWSOME feature, I'm considering drop use of version 6 because of this.
